Ilford SFX 200 135-36 is a medium-speed, panchromatic black-and-white film designed for creative photography in both picture-taking and print-making. Its extended red sensitivity is especially suited to use with a filter to create special effects. Unusual tone rendition ensures interesting results for various subjects: portraiture, landscape, townscape, architecture and other subjects. The emulsion is coated onto a transparent synthetic base. This provides superb long-term and dimensional stability.

Tips for Use:
Filters
Use a deep red filter to render skies almost black and most green vegetation almost white. The deeper the red filter, the lower the density of red-light absorbing areas on the negative and the higher the density of red-light reflecting areas. On the prints, these areas will be reversed: low density areas will appear dark, while high density areas will be rendered light.Loading/Unloading
Load into, and unload from, the camera in subdued light.Handling: Exposure
Before and after exposition, store the film in its black, light-proof container. If not promptly done, light may infiltrate the base materal.Handling: Film Roll
Keep the film roll tight after breaking the unexposed adhesive label. This prevents the film from rolling to "spring off". Follow this procedure after unloading the film.
